Atletico Madrid will keep five of their top six goalkeepers, while Chelsea and Inter Milan will also be rested.
However, Napoli are still hoping to bring in new players in the January transfer window, while Napoli’s sporting director, Giuseppe Cacace, has confirmed the club are keen to sign a new striker in the coming days.
The 23-year-old is a highly-rated talent who has scored more than half of his goals for the Giallorossi this season, scoring three goals in Serie A this season.
His impressive goal-scoring form has helped Napoli to finish in the top three of Serie A in the table, and he has also been the club’s leading scorer in the Champions League.
Napoli also want to sign another striker, but the club will only spend about €1m to sign him.
“We want to bring someone who can score,” Cacaceso said.
“He has the physical ability, he has the skill and the technical ability.
We have to look at the transfer market.”
Napoli are keen on signing a striker in January, but they will only be spending about €800,000 on a striker.
