Posted November 20, 2019 12:20:34 Aussie clothing brand Boris Boris has opened its first store in Melbourne’s CBD.
The store is being designed by London-based designer Chris Chalk, who has previously designed the clothing for the fashion giant Yves Saint Laurent and Adidas.
The clothing will be launched on November 24 and will be sold by the company’s online store.
Chalk is a specialist in clothing for men and women and has worked with fashion houses including L’Oréal, Louis Vuitton and Hermès.
“We are looking forward to introducing Boris’ first store to Melbourne and are extremely excited to be a part of this exciting new development,” Chalk said.
The Boris brand launched in Australia in 2016, following the death of its founder, former fashion designer Boris Bok, who was also a fashion designer for the US company Zara.
The brand has since launched in the US, Australia and New Zealand.
The design team behind the new store, Chalk and his team of designers have also worked on fashion collections for brands such as Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci.
Boris is known for its clean, minimal and low-profile design aesthetic.
It was founded by Bok in 1987 and has a loyal following around the world.
The company’s products include clothing, footwear and accessories, and are made from a range of recycled materials.
